In this class, participants will learn the art of creating their own ribbon skirts, exploring techniques, patterns, and designs while connecting to the cultural stories and significance behind each piece. This hands-on experience celebrates creativity, heritage, and the continuity of Native traditions.
Shawl making is a cherished tradition in Native culture, symbolizing honor, ceremony, and personal expression. In this follow-up class, participants will learn to create their own shawls, exploring stitching techniques, embellishments, and the cultural stories woven into each piece. This hands-on experience deepens connection to heritage while celebrating creativity and community.

This class on making tan acorn soup explores the deep connection between Native food traditions, climate change, and cultural resilience.
