Applique Creation

Appliqué making is a vibrant art form in Native culture, used to decorate clothing, regalia, and ceremonial items with meaningful symbols and patterns. In this class, participants will learn the techniques of cutting, layering, and stitching fabric pieces while exploring the cultural stories and traditions each design represents. This hands-on experience celebrates creativity, heritage, and the expression of identity through fabric art.

T-dress Making

T‑dress making is a meaningful tradition in Native culture, where garments are crafted with care, creativity, and cultural significance. In this class, participants will learn how to design and assemble their own T‑dress while exploring the stories, symbolism, and heritage embedded in each piece. This hands-on workshop celebrates craftsmanship, identity, and the continuation of Native traditions.
